Construction Recruiters of America is searching for a SENIOR PROJECT MANAGER in the Mid-West.  Must have at least 5 to 10  years of experience. This Project Manager must have a  diverse background which includes heavy industrial, water/waste water treatment and power/energy/steel construction experience.This position will work closely with Vendors, Subcontractors, and  Accounting.  Excellent written and verbal communication skills are a requirement of this position as well as meticulous attention to detail. Essential Duties and Responsibilities include the following: (Other duties may be assigned).


Review proposal specifications and drawings and attend pre-bid meetings to determine scope of work and required contents of estimate. 


Prepare estimates by calculating various statistical data such as quantity take-offs, material price lists, labor costs per man-hour and equipment costs and applying to complete scope of work.


Review/research historical data (purchase orders, subcontracts, productivity analysis reports, etc.) and compile summary reports to develop guidelines and precedence for future estimates.


Incorporate historical data into unit and man-hour figures.


Participate in developing bid package estimate documents.


Maintain files of working documents for back-up to estimating figures including current (accurate) information on prices from suppliers through direct contact, sales brochures, price lists, etc.


Create, send and manage subcontractor requests for proposal.


May review design options and recommend best solution based on cost, engineering quality or availability of materials. - Follow awarded contracts as assigned


May include estimating extra work items, change orders

Major Electrical Contractor Needs 40 physically fit mechanically or construction trade experienced people for a job starting Oct 1st.  Must pass a background and drug test . Pay is $8.00-$11.00 per Depends on past experience and job assigned.  Job entails helping to install and build solar panels, nice chance to get some experience in this field with all the solar work coming up throughout the state. This job will last the rest of this year +.

Responsible for all SXEW Plant maintenance/repair work at Silver Bell Mine with respect to safety, environmental compliance, production, costs, quality, people and projects.
 
Essential Functions:

Plan and control daily maintenance and repair work to insure effective utilization of resources.
Prioritize and optimize maintenance and repair work for the SXEW Plant and facilities.
Order parts, material and equipment to insure continuous operation.
Achieve copper cathode production targets.
Meet operating costs for the SXEW Department.
Develop and implement an effective Preventative Maintenance Program.
Responsible for providing quality work, which includes internal and extenal customer satisfaction, quality processes/procedures, quality equipment/tools and quality people.
Direct and support the activities of direct reports.
Develop/train/educate employees for future growth and promotion.
Work in partnership with SXEW Operations Department, the Mine, the Laboratory, and all other Silver Bell Departments to optimize safety, environmental compliance, production, costs, and quality.
Work in partnership with the Union to insure effective and efficient plant operation.
Effectively administer Department and Company policies and procedures.
Develop and implement capital and operating project to improve the SXEW Operations performance.
Fill in for the General Electrical Supervisor in his absence.
Provide safety leadership and responsibility in the SXEW Department.
Enforcement of all applicable local, state and federal health and safety regulations.
Insure environmental compliance in the SXEW Department.
